Dear Dr. Fattah,

When I was a kid, some 65 years ago, I just dreaded going to the dentist. It was truly a PAINFUL experience, which has made me more appreciative of the great advances we’ve seen in dentistry in the past fifty years or so. However, I never dreamed there would come a day when I’d leave my dentist’s office thinking "That was a great experience!" But this did happen a couple of weeks ago when you prepared my molar for a crown.

 I didn’t realize you had been numbing my mouth until you mentioned you were going to numb my palate and I might feel a bit of pain… but it was absolutely painless. It was fascinating to see the pictures you took of the tooth and your explanation of how they integrated with the computer, which then commanded a special machine to fashion a perfect replica in ceramic of my molar as a crown. And then to watch it being formed in just 17 minutes!

Thank you so much for your skill, and your patience explaining the incredible use of computers in your work. The results speak for themselves, my old tooth is gone and my new one is just beautiful.

Anxiety, fear, TMJ pain and sensitive teeth had kept me away from the dentist for 5 years. At my last cleaning holding my mouth open set off a migraine and the pain on my teeth was torture. Even the thought of going back terrified me.

I made an appointment with a new dentist, Dr. Fattah hoping he could help me get over my fear. I first saw the hygienist Greg who was wonderful. Greg took the time to give me a break in between my sensitive areas, going back to them after he worked on other less sensitive area’s in my mouth. He was patient and gentle, making the cleaning painless.

The next day I had to get 3 fillings. Dr. Fattah applied a topical numbing cream and waited several minutes so when he gave me the shots of Novocain I didn’t even feel the needles! I really appreciated that he gave extra time with the topical cream. Most dentists give a few seconds but because Dr. Fattah knew I was terrified he was more patient with me. He also gave me a jaw rest which took all the work away from my jaw. My TMJ pain was not aggravated therefore no migraine which was fabulous!

I am thrilled with Greg and Dr. Fattah. They have gotten me over my fear and I will defiantly be back to see them! No more waiting 5 years in between visits. Thank you!

What is most important to me with respect to Dr Fattah is that he always makes me feel that he is not only my dentist but my advocate and partner in providing my dental care. I had an absolutely great experience having my tooth implant at Dr. Fattah’s office. With the help of the front office, I was able to coordinate my appointments with my work and family schedule. The procedure was finished before I knew it and I love my new smile. Dr. Fattah recommended several different options for my procedure and explained the benefits and costs incurred extremely well. Each visit to Dr. Fattah’s office was like visiting with old friends. I could always count on seeing a familiar face in the office.
